Martin to Retire January 6

The City of Muskogee, Public Works Department would like to announce the retirement of Francie Martin on January 6, 2017.  A reception will be held in her honor on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. at City Hall, third floor, in the City Council Chambers.

 Francie began working for the City on September 12, 2005.  The City of Muskogee began implementing its Storm Water Management Program on April 1, 2005, which is just after Francie began researching Storm Water Management Programs in 2004.  Francie is currently responsible for assisting the Environmental Technician in the operation of Storm Water Quality Management and the Storm Water Management System.   

In addition to her overall mission of maintaining and implementing the Stormwater Best Management Practices, Francie overseas the operations of the City of Muskogee Recycle Drop-Off Center Recycling Program, and the June and October Household Pollutant Events.  Francie also helped organize the Mayor’s Azalea 500 Clean-Up and she is the event organizer for Touch-a-Truck, which benefits the Muskogee Public Library Children’s Department.

Francie’s hobbies include riding her Harley motorcycle, dancing, and enjoying all of her grandchildren’s activities.
