Rules and Regulations Prescribing the Conditions Limitations, and Privileges to which every space and lot in Greenhill Cemetery is Subject.: Space and lots shall not be used for any other purpose than as a place of burial for the dead. All deeds when executed shall be construed as simply granting to the owner of the spaces or lots the right to use said lots for burial. Only one monument per grave. Only granites and marbles are allowed in cemetery. Family stones will not be allowed unless they own back spaces, this means 4 or more spaces, with as many to the east side of lot as there are to the west side of lot.

Foot stones or markers must be level with ground, except where you are matching old foot stones that are above ground. All must conform to setting schedule. Any mausoleums must clear through the Greenhill Cemetery office. All persons are prohibited from planting trees, shrubs or plants upon lots or graves, unless previous written approval is given by cemetery superintendent.Flowers are permitted in vases or urns on monuments, any flowers placed on graves will be removed.

No private fence or enclosures around lots will be allowed. No placing of boxes, shells, toys, metal designs, ornaments, chairs, settees ** and similar articles, upon plots will be permitted; and if so placed, the management reserves the right to remove them. All graves shall be dug by the cemetery supervisor and his assistants, and under no circumstances shall private parties or owners of lots be permitted to dig graves. The city reserves the right to amend, alter or change the rules and regulations. ONLY one above ground marker per burial space. **Settees (Benches) in lieu of head stone only.
