INSPECTION FEES
- New Construction:
- Residential
- $0.30 per square foot with a minimum fee of $300.00
- Commercial
- $0.25 per square foot for the first 10,000 square feet
- $0.04 per square foot greater than 10,000 square feet (With a minimum fee of $400.00)
- Remodeling or Alteration of Structure:
- Residential
- $0.10 per sq. ft with a minimum fee of $100.00
- Commercial
- $0.15 per square foot for the first 10,000 square feet
- $0.04 per square foot greater than 10,000 square feet (With a minimum fee of $400.00)
- Storage, Warehouse, Garages, and Additions that contain NO plumbing:
- $0.10 per square foot with a minimum fee of $50.00
- A $30.00 additional will be charged for an electrical inspection
- Plan review fee:
- 25% of building permit fee with a minimum of $125.00 (If permit is obtained fee will be credited against permit fee)
- Re-roofing/Re-decking:
- $30.00
- Siding:
- $30.00
- Signs:
- $50.00 per sign with an additional $30.00 fee if electrical
- $30.00 removal of electrical sign
- Tents or Awnings:
- $30.00 each with $30.00 additional fee if electrical
- Storm Shelter:
- $50.00 inspection fee
- Elevator and Escalator:
- $75.00 for first 2 floors with $15.00 fee for each additional floor
- House moving:
- $50.00 for one room, garage, building, shed, or other structure
- $100.00 two to five rooms with $30.00 additional fee for each room
- Mobile Home:
- $125.00 outside Mobile Home park
- $75.00 inside park
- ***Note*** Residential Design Manufactured Housing to be charged as new structure
- Streets and Sidewalks:
- $30.00 sidewalk permit
- $30.00 curb cut/driveway approach
- $150.00 street cut & backfill for asphalt streets or alley ways
- $200.00 street cut & backfill for concrete streets
- $30.00 parking lot
- Fuel Storage Tanks:
- $150.00 including associated piping with $25.00 additional fee for each fuel dispensing pump
- Swimming Pools:
- $155.00 Public Pools (non-residential)
- $75.00 Private Pools
- Demolition:
- $100.00 per main structure
- Occupancy Permit:
- $30.00 per residence
- $20.00 per unit on multi-family dwellings
- $50.00 commercial – plus $30.00 per floor above three
- $100.00 industrial
- **Note**Occupancy inspection fees must be paid in advance
- Plumbing Permit:
- $30.00 inspection fee
- $30.00 reinspection fee causing additional trip
- $50.00 inspection made outside normal business hours
- $75.00 water or sewer inspection outside city limits
- $30.00 sprinkler inspection fee
- $5.00 per front foot for sewer connection (call for details)
- $0.12 per sq. ft. for outside water fees
- **Note** outside water contracts must be approved through City Attorney's Office
